Royal Albert Hall
On Friday, we went to see Sophie & Amy sing with their choir (Taplow Children's Choir) at the Royal Albert Hall. The concert was organized by CLIC Sargent, a charity supporting children with cancer. There were hundreds of children taking part, as well as a host of guests including Joss Stone, Lemar & Ms Dynamite.

A fun day was had by all the kids, even though it included travelling up at lunchtime and hanging around all afternoon. Our kids were in one of the top rows on the right hand side. Luckily we had brought binoculars so that we could see them ...
... which enabled us to see our kids singing, dancing along to the songs - and, by halfway through the second half, Amy fell fast asleep (just like her Dad).
Ms Dynamite, a late addition to the bill, really got the crowd going (particularly the kids). Lemarr did a fantastic unplugged version of "Justice", accompanied by just a guitar. We were a little disappointed with Joss Stone, who only turned up in time to join the final song, and struggled to make herself above the hundreds of kids. But, despite all the celebrities present, it was the African Children's Choir who really stole the show, their energy, enthusiasm, harmonies and talent shone out and were rewarded by the biggest cheers of the evening.
