New interactive family tree
I have just added the latest high-tech interactive family tree functionality onto the family history pages of my web site. It's based on phpGedView - an excellent development.
All I had to do was to export a standard gedcom from RootsMagic - which contains my master database. And now, visitors can browse my family tree through a variety of different user-friendly views, set markers (or favourites) on ancestors they are particularly interested in - even update the database with all of their kids' birthdays that I haven't got around to chasing them up about.
(I've set it up here - apologies but you won't be able to acces it yet - I've set it so that it's currently only available to family members who register for a logon id while I'm testing)
